The Certification Leaderboard

beginner

Certification is more motivating when progress is visible and a little competitive. The leaderboard turns individual effort into a shared picture: who is advancing, which organizations are investing in skills, and which products have the deepest certified expertise. It gives teams a friendly benchmark and gives individuals recognition for the work they have already put in.

The leaderboard reflects only public certification outcomes. It never exposes exam answers, personal contact details, or anyone’s private account information.

The leaderboard has three views:

  • Individuals — people ranked by certifications earned, average exam score, and XP. Each person appears as a single row even if they have certified across multiple devices or changed their email over time.
  • Organizations — companies ranked by total certifications, coverage (how many product tracks have at least one certified person), and average score. Organization tiers (for example, platinum, gold, silver) reflect the depth of investment.
  • Products — each product track ranked by the certified people working in it, including their roles and tier-level scores.

Individual standing combines several signals:

  • Certifications earned — the count of passed certification exams, across tiers.
  • Meta-credentials — holding Champion, Master, or Legend lifts your standing, since each represents breadth or depth across products.
  • Average score — the mean score across your passed exams.
  • XP and level — total XP from exams and achievements, shown as your current level.

Rankings update as new exams are passed; they are not real-time but refresh continuously as results arrive.

Appearing on the leaderboard is optional. If you opt out in your settings, your row is anonymized — your name and company are hidden while your aggregate position still counts. You stay in control of how you appear.
