Use Projects for Grouped Publishing
Why group changes in a project
Section titled βWhy group changes in a projectβA campaign launch might update a landing page, three product pages, and a banner block. Publishing them one at a time risks showing visitors incomplete content. Projects let you bundle all related changes and push them live at the same time.
Create a project
Section titled βCreate a projectβ- Click the Projects button in the top toolbar.
- Select New Project.
- Enter a clear name, such as βHoliday Sale 2026.β
- Click Create.
- Verify your project appears in the projects list with zero items.
Set a project as active
Section titled βSet a project as activeβYou must activate a project before your edits are tracked inside it.
- Open the Projects panel.
- Click on the project you want to work in.
- Select Set as Active if it is not already active.
- Verify the project name appears in the toolbar, confirming it is active.
Add content to the project
Section titled βAdd content to the projectβ- Confirm your project is set as active.
- Navigate to a page or block you want to update.
- Make your edits and click Save.
- The CMS automatically adds the saved item to your active project.
- Repeat for every piece of content in the group.
- Verify by opening the project. All edited items should appear in the item list.
Review items before publishing
Section titled βReview items before publishingβ- Open your project from the Projects panel.
- Click each item to preview its changes.
- Check the status column. Look for Ready to Publish on every item.
- If any item shows Draft, open it and finalize your edits.
- Verify every item shows a publish-ready status before continuing.
Publish the entire project
Section titled βPublish the entire projectβ- Open the project from the Projects panel.
- Click Publish All in the project toolbar.
- Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
- Wait for the progress indicator to complete.
- Verify by browsing the live site. All updated pages should reflect the changes.
Remove an item from a project
Section titled βRemove an item from a projectβ- Open the project and find the item you want to remove.
- Click the context menu (three dots) next to the item.
- Select Remove from Project.
- Confirm the removal.
- Verify the item no longer appears in the project list. The content itself remains in the CMS.
Delete a project
Section titled βDelete a projectβDeleting a project removes only the grouping. Your content stays in the CMS.
- Open the Projects panel.
- Click the context menu on the project name.
- Select Delete Project.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Verify the project no longer appears in the projects list.
Common issues
