Use Projects for Grouped Publishing

⏱ 10 minutes beginner

A campaign launch might update a landing page, three product pages, and a banner block. Publishing them one at a time risks showing visitors incomplete content. Projects let you bundle all related changes and push them live at the same time.

  1. Click the Projects button in the top toolbar.
  2. Select New Project.
  3. Enter a clear name, such as β€œHoliday Sale 2026.”
  4. Click Create.
  5. Verify your project appears in the projects list with zero items.

You must activate a project before your edits are tracked inside it.

  1. Open the Projects panel.
  2. Click on the project you want to work in.
  3. Select Set as Active if it is not already active.
  4. Verify the project name appears in the toolbar, confirming it is active.
  1. Confirm your project is set as active.
  2. Navigate to a page or block you want to update.
  3. Make your edits and click Save.
  4. The CMS automatically adds the saved item to your active project.
  5. Repeat for every piece of content in the group.
  6. Verify by opening the project. All edited items should appear in the item list.
  1. Open your project from the Projects panel.
  2. Click each item to preview its changes.
  3. Check the status column. Look for Ready to Publish on every item.
  4. If any item shows Draft, open it and finalize your edits.
  5. Verify every item shows a publish-ready status before continuing.
  1. Open the project from the Projects panel.
  2. Click Publish All in the project toolbar.
  3. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
  4. Wait for the progress indicator to complete.
  5. Verify by browsing the live site. All updated pages should reflect the changes.
  1. Open the project and find the item you want to remove.
  2. Click the context menu (three dots) next to the item.
  3. Select Remove from Project.
  4. Confirm the removal.
  5. Verify the item no longer appears in the project list. The content itself remains in the CMS.

Deleting a project removes only the grouping. Your content stays in the CMS.

  1. Open the Projects panel.
  2. Click the context menu on the project name.
  3. Select Delete Project.
  4. Confirm the deletion.
  5. Verify the project no longer appears in the projects list.
