Graph Core (Developer) Exam Blueprint

The Graph Core (Developer) exam has 30 multiple-choice questions, one scenario and one rationale question. You have 75 minutes and need 70% overall to pass. It covers 7 domains: Schema and Query; Search Capabilities and Relevance Tuning; Content Synchronization; Authentication and Security; Headless Delivery and Architecture Patterns; CMS Integration and SDK Usage; and Performance, Caching, and Operations. You need Optimizely Foundations first. Certifications are valid for about one year.

Implements solutions — builds and ships production code

You build and ship — implementing features with the SDKs and APIs, configuring the platform as code, and debugging real integrations. This exam confirms hands-on implementation skill: knowing the actual API surface, SDK patterns, and development workflows, not just the underlying concepts.
