Commerce Connect Core (Developer) Exam Blueprint

The Commerce Connect Core (Developer) exam has 30 multiple-choice questions, one scenario and one rationale question. You have 75 minutes and need 70% overall to pass. It covers 6 domains: Platform Setup, Security & Reporting; Catalog & Product Management, Including Pricing; Commerce Settings — Markets, Shipping, Payments & Taxes; B2C Shopping Flow & Order Management; Customer Management; and Marketing, Campaigns & Promotions. You need Optimizely Foundations first. Certifications are valid for about one year.

Implements solutions — builds and ships production code

You build and ship — implementing features with the SDKs and APIs, configuring the platform as code, and debugging real integrations. This exam confirms hands-on implementation skill: knowing the actual API surface, SDK patterns, and development workflows, not just the underlying concepts.
